ABOUT ME
I have been practicing law in the City of New York for over 40 years.
Much of my work has been lawsuits against the City of New York when that municipality has violated people's civil rights. I have achieved settlements and verdicts favorable to my clients in over 225 cases.
Please understand that the US Supreme Court has held, in a recent decision, that the Second Amendment, which guarantees us the right to keep and bear arms, is not a second-class right. It is just as important as freedom of speech, the right to be secure in our homes against unreasonable searches, or any other protection enumerated in the Bill of Rights.
I hold a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.
I attended Stony Brook University and received a Bachelor's degree in the year 1978.
I graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1984. I have never worked as an attorney for any government agency and am not beholden to any such entity.
I am admitted to practice before all the courts of the state of New York, and the United Stated District Courts, or federal courts, for the Eastern & Southern Districts of New York. I have tried over 50 cases to verdict in the New York State Supreme Courts, and federal courts, In Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens, Staten Island, and Nassau & Suffolk Counties.
I have been successfully litigating cases against the New York City Police Department License Division for over four decades.

When you begin the application for a pistol license in the city or state of New York, you will quickly discover that the powers that be are anything but helpful. In my opinion, based upon over four decades of experience, the government in the City & state of New York does not want people to have guns. It is that simple, and it is wrong, but it is reality.
